Responsible gambling
Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to make money. If it is putting pressure on you, free and confidential help exists.
Signs that play is getting out of hand
- You play to win back earlier losses.
- You stake money meant for bills or rent.
- You hide how much you play from people close to you.
- You borrow to play.
- You feel irritable when you try to stop.
Limits that work
- Set a monthly amount before opening an account and do not change it after a loss.
- Set a time limit per session.
- Do not play when tired, upset or after drinking.
- Use the operator's deposit limit and self-exclusion tools.
Why the licence matters
HGC-licensed operators must offer deposit, time and loss limits and self-exclusion, and do not accept players under 21. With an operator that has no Greek licence, such as 20Bet, these tools depend on its own policy.

According to the same source, limits cannot be set from the account. You have to request them from support by live chat or email, in English. That means a delay at exactly the moment you need the limit. Ask for them in writing before your first deposit and keep the reply.
Self-exclusion at one operator does not exclude you from others. 20Bet does not take part in any national self-exclusion register.
